Feeling Bitter After being Mistreated?

Greathearted, loving, caring, sacrificial servants of the living God have known ill treatment down through the centuries. The consequence of serving is no new phenomenon. It goes a long way back in time.
I'm not aware of a more moving section of Scripture than these verses out of Hebrews 11, which declare the reality of the consequences of serving:
And some women, through faith, received their loved ones back again from death. But others trusted God and were beaten to death, preferring to die rather than turn from God and be free, trusting that they would rise to a better life afterwards. Some were laughed at and their backs cut open with whips, and others were chained in dungeons.

Some died by stoning and some by being sawed in two; others were promised freedom if they would renounce their faith, then were killed with the sword. Some went about in skins of sheep and goats, wandering over deserts and mountains, hiding in dens and caves. They were hungry and sick and ill-treated, too good for this world. And these men of faith, though they trusted God and won his approval, none of them received all that God had promised them.
(Hebrews 11:35–39)
Tortured. Rejected. Threatened. Hungry. Sick. Martyred. People who were "too good for this world" were kicked around like big rag dolls . . . even though they gave and they served. If it happened to them, need I say more? Yes, maybe me too.
Bitterness is often bred in a context of disillusionment. Many a Christian, regrettably, is sidelined today, eaten up by the acid of resentment and bitterness, because he or she was mistreated after doing what was right. My hope for you is that you will be preserved from the paralyzing sting of bitterness and disillusionment. Take courage.

Prayer:
Any power that wants me to live in the root of bitterness, be uprooted now by the power in the blood of Jesus Christ.

Thou power of God, let your resurrection power lift me above the sin of bitterness now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Be blessed.

Struggling To Trust When Perplexed?

Some of you are facing what could easily be called an unsolvable problem. It’s you I hope to encourage today. Often the situations with no human answers form the basis upon which God does some of His best work.
This is illustrated beautifully in the life of Job, who, in my opinion, is a living example of unsolvable problems. Job’s biography includes a clipboard full of questions about suffering.
Is God fair? Is this situation just? What is a person to learn when going through deep waters of suffering?
In Job, we have a unique and rare look within the veil of heaven and behind the scenes on earth.
The LORD said to Satan, “From where do you come?” Then Satan answered the LORD and said, “From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it.” The LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, fearing God and turning away from evil.” (Job 1:7-8)
What would God say about you if He were to address Satan right now and tell him about your life? “Have you considered _______,” and then He calls your name. As he describes you, what would He say? With some of you, it might fit very closely to what He said about Job—“blameless and upright.”
Job’s life was a wonderful model of courageous living. Job trusted God in the good times. Now the scene was set to determine if Job would trust God in humanly impossible situations.
The next chapter of Job’s life is a dark one. He endured loss like few have known. His home was destroyed. His family perished. His health ruined. His finances wiped out. His friends questioned his godly reputation.
In the long process of working through his questions and struggles, Job finally resolved to trust God—no matter what. He had worshiped. He had humbled himself. He had sat in silence. He finally responded to his wife, “I accept what God has sent. I have accepted good, now I accept adversity.” Read that once more. It is the secret of his stability.
I find three real reasons Job could respond like this. First, he looked up and was comforted by God’s sovereignty. He saw more than God’s actions; he saw His heart. He accepted what God gave and took away. He saw God’s sovereign love, and he said to his wife, “Should we not receive both without question?”
Job also looked ahead and was reminded of God’s promise. In chapter 19, Job said,
“I know that my Redeemer lives, / And at the last He will take His stand on the earth.” (19:25)
Job was reminded of God’s promise that at the end all will be made right. Looking ahead, he felt spurred on.
Lastly, Job looked within and was shaped by God’s instructionJob 42:6 states that he looked at his life, and he repented “in dust and ashes.” He saw that God had instructed him in his suffering and illness as in no other way. He said, in effect, “Lord, for the first time, I honestly can say, ‘I give myself to You as never before.’”
It’s a courageous thing for a believer to give himself to a sovereign God while facing impossible situations. Perhaps that’s exactly what you need to do right now. I recall what a wise and surrendered person once prayed:
Lord, I am willing to receive what Thou givest. I am willing to lack what Thou with-holdest. I am willing to relinquish what Thou takest. I am willing to suffer what Thou inflictest. I am willing to be what Thou requirest. Lord, I’m willing.
My friend, if your days have been difficult and nights have been like a tunnel, dark and long, find your comfort in God’s sovereign control and everlasting love. Your Savior knows your breaking point. The bruising and crushing and melting you are enduring are designed to reshape you, not ruin you. Your strength and courage increase the longer He lingers over you. Remembering Job’s secret can make all the difference.

Prayer: Anything in me that causes me to relent in trusting the sovereign God, you are a lier, get out of my life now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Be Blessed.

Don't Give Up Praying

There is a book titled A Long Obedience in the Same Direction by author Eugene Peterson that puts into words the experiences of many who remain faithful to the Lord while their suffering continues without end. I have prayed the prayer below during such seasons and, today, this is my prayer for you. You may feel invisible to God, but He is near to your soul and listening to you.

Lord, my heart feels empty. Be gentle with me today for my strength is gone. I’m empty. I plead with you, Lord, to fill my soul with Your strength, which You promise me in Ephesians 3:20. Open my eyes to Your work within me. The trials You have allowed are serving to change my soul, even as my circumstances stay the same. Will You provide strength within to fulfill today’s activity?

Suffering puts our emotions on a roller coaster; trying to make sense of them is impossible.  Because of that, I offer this absolute truth: God is faithful in the midst of your trials. He is providing you with the strength to endure.

As the apostle Paul wrote, “God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us” (Ephesians 3:20).

Be blessed.

Let's Be Humbly Greatful

Although last year was a challenging year in numerous ways, we have a practical reason to look back over it with gratitude for God's protection and grace to each of us. This reflection sets in motion the ideal mental attitude to carry us through the weeks ahead. In other words, a sustained spirit of humble gratitude will make the period leading up to December 25 an integral part of the Christmas celebration rather than a dreadful marathon run toward the finish.
We live in a world fraught with evil—one in which innocent people are gunned down as they go about their business, where world governments seem powerless to stop those whose intent is to control through fear. But we could not afford to end the year in frustration. I—like you—have seen and experienced God's hand of protection and mercy, even in the toughest moments.
During this season, let's pledge not to let ingratitude become our creed or cynicism our stumbling block. As we consistently remind ourselves of God's provision in our lives and the lives of our loved ones, let this season become a special time of spiritual enrichment, personal renewal, and genuine gratitude.
Sometimes, though, it can be a challenge to give God daily praise and look for His hand, even when we possess the knowledge of His love and faithfulness. If you find yourself in this situation, often the Psalms are a great source to get you back on track.
Psalm 116 is an extraordinary expression of love—addressed to God! “How do I love Thee, God?” the psalmist seems to ask. In his answers, he sets forth several magnificent truths about God's goodness and deliverance.
I love the LORD, because He hears
My voice and my supplications.
Because He has inclined His ear to me,
Therefore I shall call upon Him as long as I live.
The cords of death encompassed me
And the terrors of Sheol came upon me;
I found distress and sorrow.
Then I called upon the name of the LORD:
“O LORD, I beseech You, save my life!”
Gracious is the LORD, and righteous;
Yes, our God is compassionate.
The LORD preserves the simple;
I was brought low, and He saved me.
Return to your rest, O my soul,
For the LORD has dealt bountifully with you. (116:1-7)
How do we love our God? We love Him by counting the many ways He has been good to us and, as the psalmist did, by sharing His goodness with others. What does God desire? Our humble thanks. Our heartfelt gratitude. He wants us to be hungry for life, to treasure every day He entrusts to us. When you have a quiet moment, read the entire psalm, expressing your own heart of gratitude to our loving Lord.
Let the wonder of this season wash over you again. God loves you and me with every bit of His heart, to the extent that He gave us the very best gift: life, wrapped up in the form of His Son. It's this life—the abundant life—that Jesus promised. This is the true spirit of all four seasons.
Let’s be humbly grateful.

God bless you all.

The God Of Daniel

Daniel 1:8-9:

“But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Now God had brought Daniel into favor and tender love with the prince of the euneuchs".

There was a supernatural ability that allowed Daniel to have knowledge, skill and wisdom. Knowledge, skill and wisdom are the things that you need, to help you get to the top. The kind that your friends and enemies cannot contend or compare with. I pray that, that will be your lot in the Name of Jesus.

I heard of a programme that was dedicated to teachers sometimes ago at a particulr ministry. It was a deliverance programme organised to address the poverty of teachers. We prayed the prayers for knowledge, skill and wisdom on that day. A teacher came with her son who is a pilot. She had seven children who still depended on her. This woman had all the problems in the world. She could not ‘make ends meet’ at the end of the month and had to borrow money from her subordinates, even though she was the Vice Principal of her school. Her children were grown and were university graduates, but depended on her. One of them was a pilot and was working with a local airline but it was as if he was not working at all. During the deliverance programme they both prayed fervently on that day.

After a while, there was an advertisement in the Newspapers, that an American airline was recruiting pilots. The young man applied and he was invited to an interview. His performance impressed the airline and he was recruited immediately. When he heard the good news, he fainted. He was given a ten-year contract worth millions of dollars and was given thousands of Dollars to pay off the company he was working with. This job changed his life and that of the members of his family. His mother showed up with the keys to the jeep he bought for her and narrated how ‘power changed hands’ in their lives. He bought her a house and all she needed, and he went to the U.S.A. to assume his post as pilot.

That is what happens when there is a supernatural knowledge and skill imparted into your life. The God of Daniel is still the same today. If you want Him to bestow upon you, the anointing for skill, wisdom and knowledge, He is ready to do it. The God of Daniel is the One you will find in Daniel 1:17. He reveals the truth to His children, through dreams and revelations.

Be Blessed.

Unity Is Key To Answered Prayers!

 Prayer Model Explained
People always ask questions like ” why do you repeat your prayers? Why are you always saying die! Why are you always shouting? Why are you cursing? The bible says bless them that curse you? Pray for them that despitefully use you! Why using prayer points in prayers?
Let's turn to the bible to answer these questions. Please note, these prayer style is the prayer model for end time warfare. Prayer points are nothing but apostolic decrees issued by believers who invariably are priests and Kings (Rev 1:6).
And therefore, Job 22: 28 “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee.”
The dominion lost in the garden of Eden, has been restored in SALVATION. The regain of dominion is a regain of authority.
Ecclesiastes 8: 4 “Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?”
Awareness and consciousness of our regained dominion as priest and kings, is made manifest in these prayer model of prayer by apostolic decrees.
Everybody gathered at the same place at the same time for the same purpose and saying the same prayer the same way unleashes a tremendous power of agreement.
The power of “Let US” of Genesis 1 during creation is an example of power of agreement.
The continuous repetition of an apostolic decree until a release by the Spirit in these prayer model is a practice in the use of the power of agreement in prayer.
Matthew 18:19 “Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”
In the garden of Gethsemane Jesus came back to the disciples and found them sleeping. Matthew 26:44 “And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.” That was not a vain repetition. It is also not a vain repetition to continuosly declare ” I shall not die but live to declare the word of God”
Every profession has a language or lingo. And so does spiritual warfare. In Genesis 3, the moment Eve ate of the fruit she died. She was separated immediately from God.
Die as used in these prayer model signifies separation. For example, "Power of failure at the edge of breakthrough die out of my life!" means power of failure at the edge of breakthrough be separated from me. Spirits don’t die. They can be however commanded to be separated from us.
Luke 6: 28 “Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
” Your blessing of those that curse you was never intended to make them prosper in their wickedness".
Otherwise, it would be contrary to Psalms 7:9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.
Hence, whatsoever puts an end to wickedness lawfully is a blessing.
James 5:20 “Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
Therefore, whatsoever converts the the sinner from the error of his way is the type of blessing referred to by (Luke 6:28). The wicked must be stopped in their tracks of wickedness.

Be advised and be blessed.

Confess Your Way To Prosperity

As you confess these words of the Lord God concerning prosperity, you will receive victory over poverty, debt and financial lack. Every wrong circumstance and every bad situation will be turned around. Every attack will be turned into victory. Be encouraged to confess it over and over again. Let the Word of God sink deep into your spirit. No matter how you feel, no matter what you see, no matter what you have experienced in the past, God’s Word always works. It never fails. Shout your prosperity confession right into the devil’s face. Make this confession a part of your daily life and expect God to work a miracle for every need you have. Jesus is Lord of this earth. The earth with all its fullness belongs to God of heaven and earth. As a joint heir with Jesus, I claim the wealth of this earth, for it belongs to Jesus Christ our Lord.

I claim all that Jesus’ death made available for me to receive. In Jesus’ name, I command you demon to loose the wealth of this earth! Take your hands off now! I command every hindering force to stop! In Jesus’ name, I bind you and render you ineffective against me, my family and all associated with me. In the name of Jesus, I command wealth to come to me now! Jesus is Lord of my life. Jesus is Lord over my finances. Jesus is Lord!  In Faith believing, confess the following now:

1. I delight myself in the Word of the Lord, therefore, I am blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in my house and my righteousness endureth forever. (Psalm 112:1-3.)
2. I remember the Lord my God, for it is He that giveth me power to get wealth.(Deut. 8:18.)
3. With me are riches and honour, enduring wealth and prosperity. (Prov. 8:18.)
4. I am crowned with wealth. (Prov. 14:24.)
5. I know the grace of my Lord Jesus Christ, that, though He was rich, yet for my sakes He became poor, that through His poverty I might be rich. (2 Corn. 8:9.)
6. I shout for joy: Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of His servant. (Psalm 35:27.)
7. The Lord is my shepherd. (Psalm 23:1.)
8. The Lord prepares a table before me in the presence of my enemies, He anoints my head with oil, my cup runneth over. (Psalm 23:5.)
9. The blessing of the Lord makes me rich and He adds no trouble to it. (Prov. 10:22.)
10. I receive wealth from the Lord and the good health to enjoy it. (Eccl. 5:19.)
11. I am blessed because I trust in the Lord. I reverence the Lord, therefore is no want in my life. The young lions do lack and suffer hunger: But I shall not want any good thing. (Psalm 34:8-10.)
12. I have given and it shall be given unto me, good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, shall men give into my bosom. For with the same measure that I mete withal it shall be measured to me again. (Luke 6:38.)
13. God is able to make all grace abound toward me, that I, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. (2 Corn. 9:8.)
14. I am prospering in every way. My body keeps well, even as my soul keeps well and prosper. (3John 2.)
15. Whatsoever I ask the Father in the name of His Son Jesus, He will give it to me.(John 16:23.)
16. Abraham’s blessings are mine. (Gal. 3:14.)
17. What things soever I desire, when I pray, I believe that I have received them and I shall have them. (Mark 11:24.)
18. I delight myself in the Lord, and He gives me the desires of my heart. (Psalm 37:4.)
19. I seek first the kingdom of God, therefore everything I need shall be added unto me. (Luke 12:31.)
20. The wealth of the sinner is laid up for me. (Prov. 13:22.)
21. My inheritance shall be forever. I shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine I shall be satisfied. (Psalm 37:18-19.)
22. Every burden shall be taken away from off my shoulder, and every yoke from off my neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. (Isa. 10:27.)
23. I am like a tree that’s planted by the rivers of water. Everything I do shall prosper.(Psalm 1:3.)
24. I will not faint, for in due time and at the appointed season I shall reap, if I faint not. (Gal. 6:9.)
25. My God supplies all of my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.(Phil. 4:19.)

Make shore you send in your victory progress report. Your testimony will bless others.
Heaven bless you.

God Will Move On Your Behalf

Provoke the Move of God in your Life.
Memory Verse: John 11:40:“Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?”
Read: Matthew 8:8-10.
Matthew 8:8-10:“The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.”

You must follow some spiritual principles in the holy scriptures if you want signs and wonders to become daily occurrences in your life. God is so generous to all that He has made it easy for all men to provoke His signs and wonders. Every record of signs and wonders in the Bible and in modern times can be traced to certain factors which were responsible for their occurrence. One of such factors is prayer. Prayers come in different forms. The prayer of the centurion is the model I want us to consider as a typical prayer that provokes signs and wonders. If there is an example of a prayer that was answered instantly with commendation, it is the prayer of the centurion. The prayer of this man made the wonder-working Saviour to marvel! This prayer manifests something I must draw your attention to: it was a prayer of humility. The man said: “I am not worthy”. When you listen to some people praying to God, you begin to wonder whether they are talking to their houseboy or maid. With every sense of arrogance, they begin to issue commands after listing the reasons for which they believe God must answer them! May your prayer-life receive a fresh sense of humility, coupled with an assurance that will provoke signs and wonders in Jesus’ Name.
Another spiritual principle that provokes signs and wonders is the principle of praise and worship. When I see some people who think they are too good to worship the King of kings I begin to wonder what they think themselves to be. Do you know that even if God wanted to say no to your request and you worship Him, the ‘no’ can become ‘yes’? The Syro-phoenician woman in Matthew 15:21-28: came to Jesus and said: “Have mercy on me; my daughter is grievously vexed of the devil”. Jesus didn’t answer her a word. This woman persisted in asking, yet Jesus seemed not to pay attention to her. He even said He was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. The Bible says the woman came and worshipped Him saying: “I know I don’t qualify for a miracle but look at me, I am on my knees”. At the end of the day, she got her miracle. So when you hear me eulogising God with names such as: Rock of ages, Ancient of days, the Lion of the tribe of Judah etc, I know what I am doing.  I am provoking signs and wonders.  How many people get up in the morning and say:  “Thank you Lord” on a daily basis?  When you do so, you are provoking signs and wonders that will greet the day you are going into.  As from today, learn how to use the weapons of prayer, praise and worship to provoke the needed signs and wonders in your life.

God Bless.

Prayer Can Move Mountains!

Deuteronomy 33:27:  ''The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and He shall thrust out the enemy from before thee, and shall say, destroy them.''

Pray this prayer with me in Faith believing:

I reject every unprofitable tenant from my life in the name of Jesus.

You spirit of slavery, loose your hold over my life and die in the name of Jesus.

O God of new beginnings, begin a new thing in my life this year in Jesus name.

I break the yokes of every territorial bondage over my life in the name of Jesus.

Thou power of resurrection, fall afresh upon me now in the mighty name of Jesus.

Every locust spirit contend to eat my harvest, be roasted by fire in the name of Jesus.

I refuse to be a wandering star; thou star of my destiny arise and shine in Jesus name.

I refuse to miss my blessing, so i claim it now in the name of Jesus.

Lord I thank you for answering my prayers.

Remember, a heart-believing prayer will not be left unanswered by the God of heaven and earth. Therefore, continue to pray until you see the manifestation to your requests.

Be blessed my friends.

Prayer For True Love

1 John 4:7-11: “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.'
